## Core Architectural Invariants
1. Code & Compiler Own Workflow; Host Owns Conversation: The host agent inspects files and interacts with the user. Unseen compiles, validates against Visual Contract v0.1, asks about host-supplied ambiguities, and renders layouts. Structural validation is not proof of factual accuracy.
2. Never Rewrite Away Evidence: Host extracts verbatim text chunks with exact page/section locators into `sources`. Rewriting causes models to hallucinate, drop exceptions, and invent phantom sequences.
3. Preserve Documented Branches: Label decision edges with the conditions supported by the sources. Never invent an affirmative, rejection, retry or termination branch merely to complete a diagram. Report unspecified outcomes instead.
4. The Clarification Loop: Unresolved ambiguities or contradictions supplied in hostContext return `status: "needs_input"`. Host asks the user, then resumes with `priorAnswers`.
5. Local-First Privacy & Zero COGS: Storage is in-browser. Exports (SVG, PDF, PNG) are 100% free and unlimited. No raw customer documents hoarded server-side.
